Todd Nauck Spring 2014 Con Appearances: UPDATE

JUST ADDED!
Dallas Comic Con, Dallas TX May 16-18

I will be appearing at the following conventions this Spring 2014:
Emerald City Comic Con, Seattle, WA March 28-30
WonderCon, Anaheim, CA April 18-20 (Note: I will not be exhibiting in Artist Alley for this year’s WonderCon)
C2E2, Chicago, IL April 25-27
Phoenix Comic Con, Phoenix, AZ June 5-8

I will be located in Artist Alley of these conventions (except WonderCon Anaheim).
Here are my current convention commission sketch prices/options and how it works for me during the weekend.
I will most likely be taking a sketch list instead of drawing each commission as each person waits in line. So hit my table early to make sure you get on the list! I plan to do a new list for each day.

Convention Commission specs (single character):

  • Head shot black and white on 7″x10″ (roughly) art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $40
  • Head shot grayscale Copic markers on 7″x10″ (roughly) art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $60
  • Head shot color Copic markers on 7″x10″ (roughly) art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $80
  • Half figure black and white on 9″x12″ art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $100
  • Half figure grayscale Copic markers on 9″x12″ art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $140
  • Half figure color Copic markers on 9″x12″ art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $180

I’ll also have my Volume 1 Sketchbook, art prints and some original art/commissions for sale.
I hope this info helps. There is a possibility info could change between now and the convention, so stay tuned to my social networks or subscribe to my the RSS feed for possible updates.

Check back for more con appearances as they are announced!

Charity Fundraiser TODAY Wed, Feb 26, at Metropolis Comics, Bellflower CA.

Bullying happens everywhere. My friends at Metropolis Comics in Bellflower, CA brought this story to my attention:

Michael Morones is an amazing 11 year old young man from North Carolina. He loves drawing, playing the violin, and My Little Pony.
But he was bullied for being a Brony to the point of attempting to take his own life. He was found in time but lost oxygen to his brain. He is currently in the hospital and under care.

SoCal comic fans! Metropolis Comics in Bellflower, CA, has invited me and other top comic creators, TODAY, Feb 26, from 5-8pm for a charity fundraiser for the Michael Morones Foundation. We will be drawing sketches for donations to help the Morones family and their mounting medical costs.

Visit https://www.facebook.com/FansofMetrohero for info on today’s event!

If you can’t attend the event, you can make a personal donation to help Michael and his family here, http://www.michaelmorones.org/.

WildGuard on TBS’ King of the Nerds Season 2

If you tune into the reality TV geek competition TBS series, King of the Nerds, you just may see some of my art adorning the walls of the house, Nerdvana.

I was approached by King of the Nerds for original comic art they could use in the house. I was able to allow them to use these three WildGuard images as posters.

You can watch King of the Nerds on TBS Wednesday nights at 10pm (9pm Central).

If you’ve discovered my art via King of the Nerds, “Welcome!”.
I’ve been a longtime professional comic artist working on series like Young Justice and Teen Titans GO! for DC Comics and multiple Spider-Man titles for Marvel Comics, including Amazing Spider-Man #583, the Spidey/Obama team-up!).
You can see more of my art each month in Invincible Universe for Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman at Image Comics.
And my next big project is the new Nightcrawler series for Marvel Comics. It’s written by legendary X-Men writer, Chris Claremont. That series debuts April 9th!

Learn more about my work and other books I’ve drawn on my ABOUT page.
