Secret Wars Spider-Woman

When I first started reading comics as a kid, I started in the middle of the Marvel SuperHeroes Secret Wars (issues #7-9).
That’s where I discovered Spider-Woman. My first thought was “Who is this lady?!? She doesn’t look like the red one from the cartoon!”
But I kept reading and didn’t let that slow me down. I’d later learn who was who and didn’t let two Spider-Women throw me.

I guess she’s called Arachne now. But to me, she’ll always be Secret Wars Spider-Woman!

Drawn with Copic, Pigma Micron, TRIA, and Sharpie markers, with WhiteOut.

Todd Nauck at Phoenix Comic Con May 26-29, 2011

I’ll be appearing at Phoenix Comic Con this weekend, May 26-29, 2011, at TABLE #446.

I’ll have original art/commissions, sketchbooks, and prints for sale. I’ll also be drawing my convention commission head shots and signing comics.

Be sure to come to the Saturday Sketch-Off May 28th at 10:30am in ROOM #126A where I will be drawing your requests along with Mark Texeria, Joe Jusko, Steve Scott, Travis Hanson, and more. Some of the art will be give-aways at the Sketch-Off to some lucky attendees and the rest of the art will go to the Saturday night auction at 7:30 in ROOM  #125 to raise money for charity.
